Vaccinated in Hawaii – Hooray!

On January 27 at 3:00 pm, I arrived at Kaiser-Permanente’s Kona Clinic for a scheduled Dose #1 of the COVID vaccine. By 3:20 (including a 15-minute observation period to ensure no adverse reaction) I was on my way back to the farm – vaccinated and with an appointment for Dose #2 in 4 weeks. 👍🎉💉

Hawaii has done a good job of managing the pandemic and has one of the lowest infection rates in the country. That has meant, however, that since March the number of visitors to the state has been greatly reduced because of quarantine requirements and later testing regulations for those arriving from outside the state and from other islands within the state.

We have missed seeing our friends who would normally be visiting from the Mainland and from around the world. As vaccination systems are put in place, we hope that you will soon be able to more easily visit us again – and that, when here, you will schedule a visit to Rancho Aloha.

Aloha - Bruce
